Indian Head Massage
Focusing primarily on the scalp, neck and shoulder areas, the therapist uses kneading and compression techniques, based on the ancient Ayurvedic system of healing, to relieve stress, headaches, migraines and eye strain. Indian head massage is often performed at the desk with the client sat on an office chair. |
Acupressure chair Massage A clothed, non-oil massage, with the client seated comfortably on an ergonomically designed massage chair, to support their posture. The therapist will work on the stress bearing areas of the back, neck, shoulders, arms and hands to unlock muscle tension and reduce stress levels. |
Reflexology
An ancient therapy, based on the belief that zones and reflex points on the feet correspond to different glands, organs or areas of the body. By massaging these reflexes, the therapist can treat specific ailments or conditions, promoting healing from within and restoring the body’s equilibrium. The treatment can be performed with the client sat on an office chair, or for regular visits, we suggest you keep a massage table/reflexology chair on site. One can be brought along but there will be an extra charge for this. |
Shiatsu
Practitioners of shiatsu apply pressure to points on the body thought to be connected to pathways called "Meridians". By stimulating these points, such therapists aim to promote the flow of vital energy (also known as "chi") and facilitate healing. According to the principles of Chinese medicine, blockages in the flow of chi can contribute to a wide range of illnesses. Shiatsu can remove, dissolve such blockages to boost natural health & wellbeing or help / alleviate pain, tension discomfort or boost the health of organs, circulation & respiration.
